Museum Learning

During the week beginning 19th January, our school celebrated a wonderful Museum Learning Week, filled with curiosity, creativity, and discovery. Each class adopted a unique museum object to explore in depth, using our Museum Learning motto — Feel, Learn, Connect — to guide their journey.

Children engaged enthusiastically with their objects, feeling inspired as they researched, investigated, and uncovered fascinating stories behind each artefact. They truly flourished as young historians, demonstrating curiosity, teamwork, and a growing confidence in sharing what they had learned.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming parents to a special coffee morning, where we discussed what Museum Learning is and how it enriches children’s understanding of the world. It was a wonderful opportunity to share our vision and celebrate the power of object- based learning together.

To conclude the week, each class took a fun selfie with their adopted object and wrote a short post reflecting on their discoveries — a joyful finish to a week full of exploration and connection.
