Reception: What is it like to live in another country?

This term, Reception have been exploring the big question: What’s it like to live in another country? Their journey took them to Africa, where they immersed themselves in its rich culture and traditions through a range of hands-on experiences. As part of their high- stakes project, the children explored African art by painting stunning sunset scenes and creating beautiful collages. They designed their own colourful sandals, tried their hand at weaving, and got a real taste of adventure by sampling exotic fruits. A class favourite was mixing up fruity mocktails using their own creative recipes! It’s been a vibrant and joyful exploration of life beyond our borders!
