Our Modern foreign languages curriculum recognise that learning a foreign language provides an opening to learn about other cultures and broaden our children’s horizons. Our curriculum develops an interest in learning other languages in a way that is enjoyable and stimulating. Our Modern foreign languages curriculum is designed progressively to develop children’s skills in languages, through regular taught lessons. Pupils progressively acquire, use, and apply a growing bank of vocabulary organised around topics. Our MFL curriculum aim to equip our children with a solid foundation on which they can build to become global citizens in a multicultural society.
